Honkai Star Rail: Top 4 Most-Difficult Boss Fights

Let’s jump straight into the top 4 boss fights which are the most difficult in the game:

1. Shadow of “Feixiao”

Top on our list is Shadow of “Feixiao” with damage type (wind). She is weak against the Quantum, Fire, & Physical type damage.

In total, there are 3 phases of the fight against the Shadow of “Feixiao HSR”. Each phase is more difficult than the last one which makes it one hell of a HSR boss fight.

To make things more difficult, you also have to face her “Ecliptic Inner Beast.” The beast also comes with 3 body parts fully capable of beating your team.

Once you make it to the 3rd phase, you should try to put her into a Weakness Break State. Once she is in this state, the damage received by her increases. Failure to put her into Weakness Break State means you will have to face an attack called “Sweep the Heavens, Swallow the Earth”.

2. Borisin Warhead: Hoolay

The Lord of the Wolves or “Borisin Warhead: Hoolay” is one-of-a-kind & truly formidable boss in HSR. He is the leader of Borisin & imprisoned in the deepest parts of the Shacking Prison.

The Moon Rage state of the Hoolay HSR is unmatched and allows this boss to deliver Lightning damage attack. Once he has 8 stacks of Irate, get ready to face the Lightning Damage Attack.

Hoolay’s Moon Range also increases the Wolftroppers’s scores that are summoned during the HSR boss battle.

As you make your way into the 2nd phase of the fight, the power levels of Hoolay increase tremendously. This unleashes a new & powerful AoE attack.

When fighting with Hoolay HSR, it always feels like you are one step behind him, which makes it a truly exhilarating boss fight.

3. Stellaron Hunter: Sam

Sam (Stellaron Hunter) is a formidable boss in the Honkai Star Rail game. Also known as the Molten Knight, Sam HSR alternates between the secondary & normal combustion states.

It is easy to fight against Sam HSR in his normal form, but things get interesting in the Secondary state. In the secondary state, the damage dealt by Sam increases, and he unleashes new & deadly attacks.

The only viable & sensible way to have a winning chance against Sam HSR is to break through his weakness bar. You need to do it before he enters the secondary state.

As long as you can handle the molten attacks of the Sam (Mecha Warrior), you have a slim chance of defeating him.

4. Something Unto Death

If you think that the fight against Something Unto Death would be a simple brawl, think again! The attacks of this boss use the Morbid Dream status effect. If an attack like this hits you, there will be nothing left but a mere grave marker.

To get out of this state, you will need to break these markers with the onslaught of attacks. That’s the only way to save your allies, but you will be distracted from attacking the boss.

The second phase of “Something Unto Death” is even deadlier as he gets more stronger. In this form, he uses “Watery Dissolution” which is a form of Morbid Dream Attack.
